My Story
I don't know about you, but as I look back on my life, I can clearly see God's grace at work all along the way. Although my life started in North Bay, Ontario, with some adversity, God demonstrated His love for me by providing a loving pastor and his wife ( Conrad & Janice Holtz ) to care for me as their child, starting at age three. A few years later, my family made their way to South Western Ontario, in Sarnia, where I have remained today. When I was eight, I sensed the Holy Spirit distinctly calling me to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and my life has been filled with abundant strength, joy, peace, hope and love ever since. Not long after, God infused a passion and I believe provided me with the gift of musical expression. With the support of my parents and the mentors from school and church, and to this day, this gift that God entrusted to me, is being formed. God has allowed me to participate in opportunities that have shaped me into the musician and person that I am today.
At age 23, I married my highschool "sweetheart", Melanie who is a blessing to me and our children, Nathan & Ainsleigh. I consider it a privilege and a responsibility to husband and father in ways that honour God and so I have long since held dear the importance of ministries, like Promise Keepers Canada, to support men in becoming more like Christ. In 2006, my wife and I were wanting a new camera. It only took the very first time I held and snapped a shot with an SLR that I was hooked on the fun and excitement of photography. Through all the trial and error, and countless hours learning the science, art and editing of photography, I have found myself appreciating it on a level I never thought I would. I truly enjoy capturing images of almost anything and love working with people in the process. Through photography, I have rekindled my deep appreciation for the wonder of God's creation in the beauty of the land and the people that make up this world that He loves so dearly. So it's with great joy that I extend my services vocationally to anyone who would deem me helpful to them.
